dc.description.abstract Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular tumor and has a high mortality rate in newborns when associated with Kasabach-Merritt syndrome. We present a case of a newborn with a huge lower limb Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma with a rapid tumor growth and a life-threatening Kasabach-Merritt syndrome, which was refractory to medical treatment. en_US
