Abstract:
Primary Herpes Simplex infection due to HSV 1 are usually associated with
gingivo stomatitis, recurrent infections frequently cause herpes labialis
Objectives: Present investigation aim to report a rare presentation of primary herpes
simplex infection
Study design: Case report
Results: A case of primary herpetic infection over bilateral malar area is reported
Conclusion: Extensive herpes simplex of the face is rarely seen in immune competent
patients particularly in children.
